Marken is a small peninsula on the dutch coastline. Although you will see some tourist busses there, it is still quite beautiful and idyllic with its lighthouse and a shop selling dutch wooden shoes. The sunny day allowed for the use of the Diana dreamer and some experimenting with lomography. I had tried the camera before but ended up with quite large light leaks. So I after some improvements on the camera, the film would wind up properly. I was surprised by how well it worked and the camera sticks to its promise: all pictures have a soft and pastel finish, the sky is a nice shade of blue and on top of it all you get a fancy vignette without any photoshopping. You might have to like this vintage style to fully enjoy the pictures, but nevertheless the Diana Dreamer lives up to its name.
