It seems I cannot overcome my fascination for trees, (dead) plants and barren lands. Sometimes I like to think I am getting tired of it all, but it always turns out I don’t. Especially not in winter with the perfect black and white mixture of wood, soil, snow and sky. It just seems easier to concentrate on the natural structures. In this particular case I enjoyed the changing mood of the weather and how it affected the contrast.
This next one doesn’t seem to fit. Still I could not bring myself to not like it. If it hadn’t been part of a series, I would have used some warmer tones, though.
